First Baptist Church Woodstock

Sunday Mornings 10:30am

603 Adelaide St, Woodstock, ON

FBC Woodstock

We gather each Sunday morning at 10:30am. We value scripture, prayer, music and community as we seek God's Will for our lives. We enjoy hymns accompanied by organ or piano and songs led by our worship team with piano, guitar and drums. Our historic building is now accessible, thanks to our new lift and accessible washroom. We'd love it if you would join us this Sunday to worship God with us.

Celebrating 200 Years: 1822-2022

We are currently in our 200th year of ministry together. In 2022 we will celebrate our 200th Anniversary. Please keep an eye out for special events once Covid restrictions are eased.

Traditional Territory Acknowledgment

First Baptist Church Woodstock is situated on the traditional territories of Indigenous Peoples and covered by the Upper Canada Treaties. We would like to acknowledge the history of the traditional territory on which the City of Woodstock stands. We would also like to respect the longstanding relationships of the local Indigenous groups, the Haudenosaunee, Lanape, and Anishinaabek of this land and place in Southwestern Ontario. We would like to recognize the Indigenous communities in close proximity to the city of Woodstock: Chippewas of The Thames First Nation; Oneida Nation of The Thames; Munsee-Delaware Nation; Mississaugas of New Credit First Nation; and Six Nations of The Grand (which consists of Mohawk, Cayuga, Seneca, Onondaga, Oneida and Tuscarora Nations).

Sanctuary Services Resume

In August 2021 our Sanctuary re-opened for in-person services. Please join us Sunday mornings at 10:30am. We will continue to observe Health and Government recommendations to ensure we are keeping our members and visitors safe.

Sermons will continue to be shared on YouTube. We have a new phone service, Twilio, that will allow you to listen to our services via a local Woodstock phone number on your regular home phone line without complicated passwords and ID numbers to punch in. Just dial the number and listen. Please email the office to receive our Twilio number.

Both the video of the sermon and the audio of the service will be recorded, and then edited Sunday afternoon, which means that there will be a slight delay before you can enjoy them. You can expect that they will both be available by Monday morning each week.

All our past services and sermons will continue to be available on YouTube. Only the audio from the most recent service will be available at any time on Twilio.
